Benjamin Lamont
Ben is a Speech-Language Pathologist with experience working with clients across the lifespan. He has worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, schools, hospitals, and rehabilitation centres. He is interested in early intervention, AAC, adult neurorehabilitation, and supporting individuals with complex communication needs. Ben is certified to provide LSVT-LOUD voice therapy for people with Parkinson's Disease, as well as Hanen's It Takes Two to Talk, for parents of children with language delays.
Ben is able to offer services as a Communication Intermediary (CI) in Alberta & BC. CIs serve a neutral role to support access to the justice system for individuals with communication difficulties, supporting communication in a variety of areas within the justice system. He is registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) and the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC), and certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC-OAC).
